Pottery is a great way to relieve stress and explore your creativity. Anne Rimbault’s open pottery workshops and pottery classes are designed with fun in mind – play with clay, discover a new hobby and meet fellow potters.

Saturday Pottery Workshops

What To Expect

  • The three-hour workshop is usually held on Saturday mornings between 9am and 12pm.
  • No prior experience is needed.
  • You’ll spend 1½ hours throwing on the wheel and 1½ hours painting a ready-made item from our selection – a mug, goblet, bowl, jug, etc.
  • Everything you make, or paint, will be finished off for you.
  • Bring an old t-shirt to protect your clothes, wear shoes/slops that can get messy, and we’ll take care of the rest.
  • Tea and coffee are included and you're welcome to bring your own drinks.
  • The cost is R750 per couple or R400 per person. Advanced booking is essential, with a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
  • All completed items can be collected 3-4 weeks after the workshop.
